Teaching philosophy
An important aspect of the development of interactive multimedia course is the requirement to review the performance of student’s projects. This review ensures that the projects are timely, reasonable, complete, and consistent with projects for real production after graduation.
It is my responsibility to ensure that:

1 - student’s development of projects are properly prioritized;
2 - each expectation is related to a project’s outline or objective described in the pre-production;
3 -
each expectation is clear and specific as to theme and content, (how will the project be used? who will use it? target audience?), where appropriate;
4 - each expectation is realistic and possible in the timeframe given (each student must turn-in two projects);
5 - attainment of each project are graded (The topic must be interesting, attention-getting, and easy for the end-user to follow);
6 - grades are fair and consistent relative to other similar projects;
7 - must foreseeable external factors which may affect a student's level of performance in a job (after graduation) have been appropriately considered;

After the student has a plan for a project and I have approved it, I meet with the student to discuss it. This is crucial meeting, because it is the time a student and I develop a clear, mutual understanding of his or her duties. This meeting also serves as the foundation for an ongoing dialogue between the student and me throughout the semester.
In addition, in each of the courses I teach, student participation in the decision-making process, including the pre-production, the production and the post-production, among others, are discussed.
The pre-production:
In the pre-production, the student gathers and researches all reference materials for the project(s).
The production:
The production refers to the creation of the project(s).
The post-production:
The post-production means finalizing the project(s).

Because of their relevance to students’ comprehensive improvement or development, I encourage the students to follow these three steps as they develop their project(s).
At the end of the semester, each student must turn-in two projects, which are evaluated depending on the design and the layout. These interactive projects must be interesting, attention getting, and easy for end-user to follow.
